Made-to-Order
A number of pieces — tailoring, coats and selected dresses — can be cut to your measurements in the cloth of your choice.
How It Begins
Write to info@shopbutacup.com or call +1 844 300 2882 with the piece you have in mind. A client advisor will take you through what can be adjusted: length, cloth, lining, buttons, and fit through the shoulder and waist.
Measurements
You can send measurements yourself using our guide, or have them taken by any tailor and forwarded to us. For a first order we ask for a photograph of the piece on you so we can check the line before cutting.
Cloth Selection
We hold a working list of wools, cashmere blends, silks and cottons from mills we buy from regularly. Swatches are sent by post at no charge before anything is cut.
Lead Times
Made-to-order pieces take four to six weeks from confirmation of measurements and cloth. Outerwear can take up to eight weeks. You will receive a confirmed date before payment is taken.
Fittings & Adjustments
One round of adjustments is included after delivery. If the fit is not right, return the piece and we will correct it at our cost.
Payment & Returns
Made-to-order pieces are charged in full at confirmation and, because they are cut to your measurements, are final sale and cannot be returned except in the case of a manufacturing defect. Our adjustment guarantee applies in every case.
